She has spent the past fifteen years as the guiding force behind the organization\u2019s outreach, engagement, and on-air content diversification. Williams-Butts created NYPR\u2019s Star Program, the Cultural Arts Program and WNYC Single Series, which serves as a substantial stream of revenue. In addition, she created a new revenue stream for the organization with specialized events and worked closely with the Underwriting sales team, bringing in over $1 million in revenue during a five-year span. She produces the station&#39;s annual MLK event, which brings together scholars, community leaders and activists to engage in conversation, about the legacy of King\u2019s dream.
