Diaz is the managing editor of Hoy, Chicago’s Spanish-language daily newspaper, and its website Vivelohoy.com. He is a former president of the Chicago Headline Club and a 2004 graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s undergraduate journalism program. Diaz has worked at newspapers in English, as an investigative reporter and helped launch ChicagoNow before joining Hoy. He has served on the board the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors.
