Cloutier uses data to tell stories and create multimedia projects for The Boston Globe. Before focusing on data journalism, she was a local news producer for The Boston Globe's Boston.com and contributed to its Pulitzer Prize and Online Journalism Award-winning coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings. Previously, she covered crime and breaking news for the Erie Times-News. Cloutier is a graduate of Boston College and the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she participated in the Annenberg Graduate and News21 fellowship programs.
