Prior to serving as homepage and social media editor at Foreign Policy magazine, Grovum has worked as a data journalist, web producer, digital strategist, and local schools reporter. Her work has appeared in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Grovum co-curates a list of diverse web journalists and oversees convention programming for the Asian American Journalists Association. She is a member of the Tech Lady Mafia and an alumni of the Chips Quinn Scholars program. In her free time, she develops recipes from fiction for a feminist nerd blog, Being Geek Chic.
