Lee has been trying to escape the web platform since 1993, but somewhere around 2009 decided if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. After a career working in interactive media as a developer for educational materials, an administrator on a NSF diversity grant, and a university communications director, Lee realized she couldn’t escape higher education either and began teaching graphic design, web design and visual communications at Indiana University in 2004. Recently she wrangled up a team of faculty to develop a new degree program at IU that brings together design, data, web development and programming for the newly-established IU Media School.
