
Amico, who recently joined the Boston Globe, is founder of the award-winning Homicide Watch enterprise and is a core member of digital journalism's Structured Journalism movement. A 2013 Nieman-Berkman fellow in journalism innovation at Harvard, she's now working with WBUR to launch Learning Lab, a structured journalism beat covering education reform in Massachusetts. Amico is a 2011 MJ Bear Fellow with the Online News Association, a fellow at the 6th Annual Harry Frank Guggenheim Symposium on Crime in America, a Knight News Entrepreneur Boot Camp alum, and a New York Times Chairman’s award winner.
