Sonya Song

Song is a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and a Ph.D. candidate in Media and Information at Michigan State University. She has a background in computer science and journalism and currently researches Internet policy, social media and their impact, and technological innovations across newsrooms. Prior to the Berkman Fellowship, she was awarded a Google Policy Fellowship in 2012 and worked with the Boston Globe as a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews fellow in 2013. Sonya is also an avid photographer, a film buff, and a devotee of literature.
