Having recently joined NPR, Fisher previously interned at Gannett and the Chicago Tribune and graduated from Northwestern University in 2014, studying journalism. While at Northwestern, Fisher worked for the Northwestern University Knight Lab, where he created SoundCite and worked on other Lab projects.
